The Rondo watch collection showcases a timeless Bauhaus design with a unique twist. Manufactured in Glashütte, where only the finest German watches are made, it features a sub-seconds register at 7 o’clock, and a wide date aperture is positioned at 2 o’clock. Despite this unconventional display, the design maintains its minimalist essence. They are also made of stainless steel and sapphire, while a high-precision quartz movement ensures near-perfect timekeeping.
The case is fully polished, with a diameter of 38mm and its ultra-thin movement makes it only 6.2mm thick. It has a 20mm lug width and a shape that is highly strap-friendly. Given these remarkable measurements, people with wrists of all sizes should be satisfied. Furthermore, its sapphire crystal is coated with anti-reflective material to help reduce glare.
The RONDO BIG is available in light brown with fine black printing and black hands and white cream with the same fine black printing and hands. The light brown is only available on a slick back smooth leather strap with a pin buckle, while the white cream is supplied on a beautiful mixed-finish 7-link bracelet. Both are exquisite, and choosing between them might prove difficult. You may have to get both!
Meeting Glashütte standards, the Swiss-made Ronda 6004, which powers the RONDO BIG, has been decorated with nickle plated bridges and heat-blued screwes, as well as assembled in-house. It is a quartz movement with five jewels, hacking, small seconds, and an end-of-life indicator.
